With over 8 years of experience in events and recently small business she joined Young Business Edge to help create opportunities for other regionally based millennials.
She works with Federation Council, Chamber of Commerce and runs an events and entertainment company.
Her recent projects and events include the Albury Wodonga Business Awards, The Great Australian Beer Festival and Albury Gold Cup.
She was a recent delegate for the China Australia Millennial Project to learn more about international relations, design thinking and is now developing programs locally as part of ‘The Vibe Collective’s initiatives.
She loves to collaborate, connect and is always looking for ways to support & advocate for our regions young guns.

Mitch is an outsider, having moved down from Sydney just 10 months ago. This being said, he has embraced the Albury/Wodonga way of life and is loving the both the local business environment and the great people he meets each day.
Mitch Started his career as an Exercise Physiologist after completing a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Wollongong. He has since taken the more corporate approach working in the Insurance industry and now for a workplace rehabilitation firm called IPAR.
Mitch is an experienced people and business manager who loves building his professional networks, learning from others knowledge and helping others where possible.
Most importantly Mitch is a huge Sydney Swans fan and is looking forward to celebrating this year’s premiership with the relatively small cohort of Albury Swans fans.
Chris has worked at ANZ for the past 7 years, providing a total banking relationship for medium to large businesses across northern Victoria and Southern NSW. Born in Wodonga, Chris has lived locally for the majority of his time.
Having moved around Victoria after a short stint in Japan, Chris returned to Albury to raise his family in 2011. He studied his BBus (Banking/Accounting) locally at CSU and is involved in many local community groups and business networks.
Chris joined YBE to make a positive impact for local professionals. Chris’ “hobby” is driving three kids to various things.
Joe is an ICT Manager with The Personnel Group. In the role, he manages all aspects of IT including infrastructure, governance and training, and has more than 11 years of experience in the ICT field. Before joining The Personnel Group in 2013, Joe worked for a diverse range of organisations, including the higher education sector, government agencies and private sector.
Having lived in the local area since 2013, he is a big believer in connecting with likeminded young business professionals.
Andrea is a politics and Netflix nerd working in Corporate Affairs for Mars Petcare. Andrea’s work includes raising the profile of Mars as a great employer in the region, and hanging out with dogs in the office.
Moving to the Border in 2015 from Perth, she pronounced Albury wrong for at least the first month. As part of the YBE committee she intends to create fun events for young professionals to meet and connect, over a glass or three of some savvy b.
John is a driven and enthusiastic business professional originally from the country. His love of North North Melbourne Kangaroos along with his desire to experience the city life influenced his decision to move to Melbourne for 9 years. While in Melbourne he worked with the Adroit Insurance Group Melbourne office studying hard and progressing his career to become a fully qualified Insurance Broker.He was fortunate enough to be able to transfer to the Adroit Albury office in the last two years taking on a book of local clients.
His life is never dull with his 2 baby boys keeping me him on his toes and laughing every single day.
Peter is the owner of MRM Mortgage Brokers. After living and working in Melbourne for 6 yrs. Peter realised that the opportunity to expand his knowledge, experience and his weekly pay check lay int eh regional town of Albury.
Peter moved to Albury in 2008 to take the next step in his banking and finance career.
After noticing there was a gap in the market for good quality customer service Peter set out to start his own Mortgage Broking Company.
Luke is a local lad who made a conscious decision to stay local and complete his accounting degree. Luke started with Crowe Horwath (then KPMG) back in 2005 when he was half way through his degree.
After 5 years at Crowe Horwath Luke decided it was time to travel the world which led him to London in 2010 where he worked at Tate & Lyles' head office as a Financial Accountant.
After traveling and working for two years Luke returned home to re-join Crowe Horwath in 2012 and is now a Manager in the Business Advisory team.
